Even though I have taken most of the summer off I have been thinking about putting this book together for some time. I just started working on it the end of August. My plans are to use bright primary colors and simple images. There are too many Cricut cartridges used to name them all. I have used a little bit of everything I own. Some of the pictures did not turn out very well. You can't tell from the picture, but the astronaut was cut from mirror board so that he would have a nice shiny suit on. I have really enjoyed working on this book so far.

Pastor Appreciation Cards
I have taken quite a bit of the sumer off. I am beginning to think our summer will never end. It is still so HOT here.
October is Pastor Appreciation month and I have made a couple of thank you cards for our pastors. They don't have many Cricut cuts to them this time. The first card has the scallop cut from the Paisley cartridge and the second has the "Thanks" cut from Songird.

Jungle Layout
I have had this page in mind for some time and I'm just now getting around to creating it. I decorated my den in jungle animals for Brayden's baby shower because that was the theme of the nursery. I decorated wood letters spelling out Brayden's name to go in the nursery. I used Animal Kingdom to make the jungle animals and the word "jungle". I used A Child's Year to cut the word "baby". I added some jungle brads to the unmatted photos. I usually mat all my photos, but I left these unmatted to be a little different. I used pop dots on some of the elements to add dimension. All the paper was DCWV.

Bath Time
It has been a long time since I have posted anything. We have really had a busy summer so far and I have not had the opportunity to work on any projects. I have had this one on my mind for some time and I finally got the chance to put it all together. I still don't have the lighting right so the pictures didn't turn out that well. I haven't quite figured out what to do about that, any suggestions are welcome. Anyway, I have completed one bath time layout for Brayden. I used Everyday Paper Dolls for the tub, bubbles, duck, and little boy in the bath towel. I used Base Camp for the letters and Give A Hoot for the bubble border. The background paper is DCWV's "Nana's Nursery Baby Boy". The border and the lettering is from My Mind's Eye's "Where The Heart Is"

Just Be You
I had another graduation card to make and decided to make this one a little different from the typical "congratulations" cards I have been making. I got the idea when I was looking at the Bitten by the bug 2 challenge for this week. I also decided to use the layout from Mojo Monday to complete the card. I enjoyed making this card and I hope my niece will like it. I used Sentimentals for the bee and the scallop tag. I used Paisley for the sentiment. The inside is a vellum sticker I had in part of my neverending stash. The yellow border is from a Fiskars border punch and the green ribbon is from Paper Studio. The yellow border looks crooked to me. I didn't realize it when I took the picture. It's not crooked on the card, but it is in the picture. I think it might be because I had the card open so it would stand up on its own. I am gonna have to rethink that idea.

Let's Do Lunch!
I created this card to send to a friend I don't get to see very often. Hopefully we can get together for lunch soon. I used Everyday Paper Dolls for the basket and the sun. I used Paisley for the turtles. You can't really tell in the picture but the body is a light green and the shell is yellow. I used the yellow thinking it would go good with the red "tablecloth" paper. I will be entering this card in this week's Cricuter's Anonymous Challenge.
